Honorable Jason Kenney
Minister of Citizenship, Immigration
& Multiculturalism

Dear Honorable Minister,

We are writing this letter on behalf of the Iranian –Canadian for Human Rights (Toronto) an Iranian community organization. ICHR is dedicated in monitoring and defending human rights in Iran.
We have received information via Mr.Majid Nasirkhani an Iranian refugee claimant with ID No. 59104144 that he has been in Immigration Detention Centre at 385 Rexdale Blv. In Toronto since November 20, 2012 waiting for deportation. Based on our information, he is going to be deported on February 19,2013.
We believe since Mr.Majid Nasirkhani has converted from Muslim to a Christian and his conversion to Christianity is in the internet, his deportation to Iran from Canada will endanger his life and we take Ministry responsible if anything happens to this Iranian individual who has fled Iran’s despotic regime to Canada from religious persecution.
We believe that Minister knows very well about Iranian regime’s records on violation of human rights and we don’t need to speak more on this issue.
Majid is a “Heating – Cooling “ technician and has a daughter who is a Canadian Citizen.

We urge honourable minister to reconsider and to review Mr. Majid Nasirkhani’s refugee claimant application and allow him to stay in Canada on passionate and human rights grounds.
Hoping to receive response from minister office and for any question please contact us via email at: mabdolalian@sympatico.ca and the phone number provided.

Thank you
Morteza Abdolalian
Director
